My Rock Star!

I took these photos of Grace and her pals last January. I love them and laugh almost every time I look at them. But, I haven't scrapped them - because I just wasn't inspired. When I saw this kit by Amanda Carlson, called Rock Goddess, I knew exactly what I wanted to do!The zebra print letters are from Jessica Edwards' kit, Kylee Nicolle.

I told ya I would!

Sitting here while Hattie naps, I should be doing laundry, dishes, floors, something productive....But, instead, I am playing with Sweater Weather and the Corduroy Solids - again! Did I mention I love that kit?By Jessica Edwards at Elemental Scraps

I can't wait for Sweater Weather!

Here is the South...it is still HOT...and I can't wait for Sweater Weather! All of you who know me, know that I love to wear sweaters and cardigans...so I was excited to see the first day of fall this past Wednesday. I would have been more excited if the weather wasn't in the 90's, though! haha

Jessica Edwards just released this great new kit: Sweater Weather. I love it! Love, love, love it! The colors are great and it is packed with yumminess! She also has a cool Corduroy Paper Pack that coordinates with it.I had this fun picture of Grace with her cousin at the park last February that I thought of when I saw this kit.I can't wait to get to real sweater weather - but until we get there, I plan on having fun pretending with this kit!

Milestones!

Hattie is almost 7 months. I can't believe that these precious moments are going by so quickly. I am not nearly as good at keeping up with writing down important dates - milestones - as I was with Grace. So, I thought this kit, Your Miles, by Gabs-Art was great for getting some of those days down that I don't want to forget! This kit is great for boys and girls alike, so head over to SDD and check it out!

Grace at 5!

I couldn't get all the journalling done on this layout that I wanted to - about my sweet girl and her quirky personality ...so I decided to do a "Grace's Top 5 at 5" type page! I guess, I will have to make another layout about her personality! What a chore! hahaI used Kathy Winters' (from SDD) kit, Spring Renewal. I love her colors in this kit! It has a ton of Easter elements, but there are so many other elements in this kit that you really can use it for all types of layouts.

He Loves Me!

My husband, of course! He loves me and every day I am grateful for him. One of the things that I love the most about him is how much he loves our girls. He is such an incredible dad. I am so glad that they will grow up with him playing such an active role in their lives.

So, the kit He Loves Me by Amanda Carlson, first attracted my attention because of the name! When I clicked on it and saw the color scheme and the elements, I immediately thought of these photos from a trip to Florida.

A Long Over Due Announcement!

Yes, she is almost 7 months old, but I have been busy!! HA! Seeing JYM Get Blocked by Gabs-Art finally inspired me...and thanks to Gabs, it was SO easy. These blocks would be perfect for announcements, invitations, etc...in addition to showing off lots of photos on your layout! I used Gabs' kit, Awaiting, to make the announcement.

My Mini-Me

Grace and I are so much alike! And, I am so much like my own mother (the day I realized that, I was so shocked! hahaha). When I saw this kit, Apple of my Eye by Kathy Winters (part of the Sept Grab Bag at SDD), I knew I could use it!Other credits:
For: The Apple Doesn't Fall Far from the Tree - I used a random glitter action to turn a circle into glitter, then used an action called carving on it to turn it that color.

For: My mini-me: I did the above and the date stamp is from Sweet Tomato Designs' Today.

Guest CT Spot with Amanda Carlson!

I was invited to guest on Amanda Carlson's CT! I love her designs and I was so thrilled to be able to do it! Of course, this month is crazy and I haven't been able to do as much as I want, but I love this fall grab bag and wanted to show off some photos of Grace with it!

Key Lime!

I love Key Lime pie - it is in the top 5 of my favorite desserts! Others include: cheesecake, ice cream, cinnamon rolls and ice cream flavored like cheesecake or cinnamon rolls! haha. When Cara of Sweet Tomato Designs told me she was working on a kit called Key Lime, I knew I had to have it! Check out the preview:Aren't those some yummy colors? Here are 2 I did with it:
Photos are by the great J. of JBellAustin.com
Oh, and my first layout above, "g," was supposed to be for the September Humpty Dumpty challenge. Unfortunately, I missed out on it by 2 pieces. I just couldn't get them to look good on my page!

One for Miss. Hattie's book!

I am almost ready to print the first half of Hattie's life and get it in a book!! I didn't make an album about my pregnancy - too sick, too tired, too stressed, etc. with the bad excuses. So, I thought I would add a layout showing me all nice and fat! hahaI used Gabs-Art great kit, Awaiting - available at SDD. I love the colors in this kit!

Catching Up!

I have these great snapshots of my little family that a friend took a couple of months before Hattie joined us...and I have been a slacker! I decided to use this fun kit, Smitten by Kathy Winters at SDD to showcase our family photo! This is a Valentine's kit, but, isn't love a daily thing!? Ha!
And, since I love this kit so much, I did a companion page tonight for it!! Both pages ended up being about my love for my family, my girls...and how I hope they always feel that love.

I got blocked!

And since I was blocked, I decided to use these creative blocks to get me going again! The block is called JYM - Get Blocked by Gabs-Art at SDD. I also used her kit, Awaiting, to scrap these photos of my little girl's first experience with homework! We had such fun doing her project and I had to make sure it goes in her album!
